Egg size, Emoryi rats and Corns

Steve_Craig Mar 27, 2006 08:02 AM

This post is a spin off to Jim's below on his Great Plains Rat (Montana) that had just laid those huge eggs. Was curious if anyone had any pictures or know of any links that show a side by side comparison between the eggs of an Emoryi Rat and a cornsnake? I was at a herp show yesterday, and was looking at 05 corns, and it made me realize how much larger baby emroyi rats are in comparison. I think it's safe to say when Great Plains Rats come out the egg, they're ready to kill something, LOL

Hey Steve,
sorry I don't have an emoryi/corn egg comparison pic but I do have a comparison between a couple of bairdi eggs next to a corn egg.

Corn snakes and rat snakes..No one can have just one.
