New Burm Morph???

tomsiegrist Mar 27, 2006 12:35 PM

I picked this up from a 19 year old out of a local advertisement. I was looking for a 7' female Burm to breed with one of my Albino Granite males.

I asked him to email me pics and I was shocked! It isnt often that you see something as unusual as this, especially from a "Pet Store" type user. He had her as a pet and needed to get rid of her to make room for a fishtank. I gladly bought her and she is perfect. No scars, very muscular, about 11' long and active.

I cant seem to find any morph that looks like this. Depending on the light, she goes from a light green to an almost gray by her head. These pics were taken at 6pm or so last night, as the sun was low. Anyone have any ideas on her possible genetics?

Thanks
Tom Siegrist

That is only a Lab. A few years ago they popped up and some called them Tiger labs. But it is simply a reduced pattern lab not worth much at all. But it is a good looking animals but nothing new.
