Substrate question

r3ptyl Mar 27, 2006 01:35 PM

First, i have to say that i keep my geckos in a sand-free terrarium.

Secondly, yesterday i was talking to a friend of mine(who is a pet store owner) about substrates. And he told me that if the gecko is able to "throw" out the sand he ingests, on his faeces, than there is no impaction problem.

Is this true?

No it's not quite true. However would you like to play russian roulette with your leo?
