Desert Tort. Question

I work in a vet hosp and I have a client that has a 50ish y/o female that is a regular egg layer. Her question was at what age if at all will a tort stop laying and I have been unable to find any info. on the subject.

Any suggestions on where to find out or does anyone here know for sure?
