Eggs...Day 42

cornsnakefreak Jul 28, 2003 10:33 PM

Hey,
My eggs are 42 days into incubation. I have 12 good eggs still out of the 14. I have a few questions though. When I candle my eggs, some of them have this ring of what looks like air in there. Have these eggs died? What should they look like when I candle them. I see huge veins in them and black blobs at the bottom. Is this okay? Please let me know

As far as I can tell, the eggs are fine.

Early on in my incubation efforts, I dropped an egg and watched it go bouncing across the floor. The contents were well scrambled, killing the embryo. Ever since I've kept handling to the absolute minimum. It minimizes danger to the eggs and helps me be patient.
