The Will Still Ga's have been locked up all day and the NJ male is trying like hell to get busy with the NJ female so we shall see.

This breeding should produce the orangest GAs yet. The only problem is we are going to want to keep 'em all (LOL). Good work bud! Here is her clutch from last year (23 eggs), are we goin' for 30 this year?
Will
that's amazing.
I know that you have had to inbreed that line (at least that is what I have always assumed).
I am curious - how inbred are the adults that produced those 23 eggs? I always thought that would reduce clutch size. I guess not! To top it off --- they are large snakes, aren't they?

Hi Peter,
Yeah, that was quite a shock. This line has always been very productive, routinely dropping clutches in the teens, but I'd never heard of an eastern laying more than 20 eggs (not saying that it hasn't happened, just that I'd never heard of it). I'm very interested to see how she does this year as she is even bigger.
That female is an F2, as was her mate (Frank the Tank). As you know, the founders were from different locales in GA, but my F1 breeders were sibs, as were their offspring, which are the parents that produced the 23 egg clutch. Good luck this season.
Will
Will,
Thanks... and I hope you pop some good ones out as well.
