Sores under jaw???

gardenmum Mar 28, 2006 05:13 PM

I was taking some pictures of my male BP and noticed that he had weird spots under his jaw so took some close-up shots. They appear to be sores. Has anyone ever seen this before? I am wondering if they will just come off with the next shed or if I should treat them with something?
Thanks.

Hey,

I think it's from rubbing/attempts at escaping, but it could be caused by a rat bite. Worst case scenario it has spread into mouth rot (check inside the mouth for sores) but probly not. This usually goes away with a shed or two.
