Does anyone have knowledge of, or can cite references that deal with the subject of size morphs within species of snakes? I wish to jumpstart my understanding by seeking input from others that may have some knowledge on this subject and/or if the subject has been addressed in the literature.

For instance, there is a large disparity in the mean and maximum lengths of Diadophis in Kansas vs Utah or Arizona. I would expect that other disparities exist between such populations relating to size such as minimum, mean, and maximum lengths of neonates, and the length at which sexual maturity occurs. Has this or similar disparities in size (lengths) within a species' complex been examined in detail?
