Morgan said that would fall into the type 1 category. Actually, from reading your posted link-(Tad Fitzgeralds site, which by the way has awesome snakes and never doing business with him myself have heard he is great to deal with) the snake in the start of this thread would fall into the type 3 category actually.
Jeff
it really comes down to band count more than coloration i think.

If you've seen lots of CB baby knoblochi then you would know that the type 1,2,3 thing isnt 100%. I think it was mostly a type name to put with them and get higher prices in the pet trade for certain ones. I've seen adults with high black-(lots of crossovers) produce some very nice reduced black babys and the other way around too. So lets say you have a clutch of 8 eggs, and out of the babys you have 3 of your type 1's, and 3 type 2's, and then 2 type 3's-(which is possible)they are still knoblochi. The only names that go well is a name that describes it's look. To me, the name "Applegate pyros" is not a great name for that pattern morph as it doesnt describe its look at all-(no pun to Applegate). Just my thoughts, peace.

PS- so what type # knob would you list this under...?

Morgan,
I hope you asked permission to use that photo. It's in bad taste and illegal to post other people's photos without permission. The photo you posted was taken by Tim Gebhard of Vivid Reptiles, and is used on Tad Fitzgerald's site (I assume with Tim's permission). At least Tad gives him credit for the photo.
i posted the website where i got the photo.
