I am wondering if anyone can give me some insite on why my snake looks the way it does. This afternoon he was fine and I just went down stairs to check on everyone and low and behold there was the Solomon Island Tree Boa all kinked up and dead.
Advise... help..
Only an Ectopsy could tell for sure. You may want to get one in case it is contagious to protect your other herps. I had a red tail do something similar, and it turned out to be a liver disease. The whole clutch I got him from died of this. Good luck!

I have seen something like this only once but it was due to something that ended up being poisonous, but i don't recall what it was

I've seen snakes die kinked due to the (improper?) use of Prevent-a-Mite. He may have been writhing, to give him that appearance. Not sure, but sorry you lost him.
That snakes body does not look right at all!!! Had it recently eaten?? There are some places that look swollen and disfigured. Possibly twisted intestines, hard to tell without a necropsy though. Just doesnt look normal and healthy.....
