Late Entry For The Stripe Contest!!!!!

porsche Mar 28, 2006 11:30 PM

Our entry is a little tardy, because it was born the day after the contest. Oh well, better late than never! Mom has an awesome stripe too, but didn't want to take new pics when she was so close to giving birth. What do you think?

Is there pics of the whole litter somewhere? Can we see?

porsche Mar 29, 2006 07:22 AM

We'll post a couple pics now, It was a very small litter, with 7 live and healthy. Thanks for the kind words!! Mother is a full stripe, and the father is an Ihle Salmon with a stripe about 1/3 of his body.

The breeding was a stripe female, by an Ihle Salmon male with a looooong stripe! We think he is quite beautiful as well. The parents are Tequila Sunrise, and Zena, hence the T.A.Z. litter. Thanks to all for the great compliments!

Very nice litter, Who did you buy momma from? How old was she before trying to breed her?

We purchased her from Lankey's Striped Boas (James Engstrand), from what I understand, he bought Danny Bristo's striped boa collection, that he had been working with for years. (Superstripe). She is 4 years old, we don't believe in rushing anyone to breed too early.

Thanks,
Rick & Sherry
