NOT EATING

igotthatfeeling Mar 29, 2006 01:06 AM

I have an 8 year old LEO and he seems to not eat a lot...I try to feed him like 3 mealworms every other day, but he refuses to eat...he just closes his eyes and lays down. Although, sometimes he does eat, just not everyday, and maybe not even every other day...he doesn't seem to poop that much either.

He has also began to dig all over his cage...Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

And are you sure the temperatures are okay? I had a snake that wouldn't eat, and was overly active. I found out the cage was too hot. Check and make sure he isn't too hot or too cold. Is he properly hydrated. Is he shedding properly?

Are you keeping an eye on its weight? If not you should be, if you are then is it loosing weight or staying fairly steady?
