why won't it eat?

eobsoleta Mar 29, 2006 09:48 AM

My friend has had her bearded dragon for about three months, and while it is active and healthy, its appetite isn't what iit should be. It eats, but in small amounts and not enough for a growing lizard. The cage temp is excellent and she's been offering him all the appropriate food items. Could this be the result of parasite or just a picky dragon?

IF you are offering a variety of things and the dragon does not eat anything aggressively, it could be a parasite load.

If the dragons eats a lot of one thing, but not of others, you have a picky dragon. They can be quite stubborn.
