Going to be in Pheonix, AZ over the weekend. Any where within 30 miles or so to do some herping/photo taken?

Lets see som pictures when you return! I am planning a trip to Care Free just north/east of Pheonix next month. I've been on a search to photograph some Gilas in their natural environment!

Didn't end up doing much herping....spent about an hour out in the Lake Pleasant area....just a few lizards and a couple spiders... Will post photos soon....

Female Common Side-Blotched (Uta stansburiana)

Tons of the side-blotched all over.....
This was the only ear-less lizard I found.... I believe it to be Holbrookia elegans but not sure. If anyone is current on the fauna of AZ ideas would be great. It was found on the West Side of Lake Pleasant. I did a little searching on the web but nothing I found showed either of the ear-less species in that area....
It was about 10:30- 11:00am and 80-85F when these were found.
