Eye of the sleeping frog

bradtort Mar 29, 2006 09:46 PM

Someone posted a question about the appearance of the eye of a sleeping frog.

I took a close-up of my dumpy frog. He was sleeping under his red light bulb, so I didn't turn on extra lights or use flash for fear of waking him. I converted the photo to monochrome.

I think its good to mention that most frogs eyes are slitted horizontally, with WTF's and a few others being the exceptions.
