well,funny thing-they are not an actual subspecies anymore,lol....they're (ridiculously,in my opinion) considered an intergrade between eastern milks and scarlet kings today....prior to 1978,they were the milk subspecies 'temporalis',a.k.a. coastal plains milks....this here pair in the pic are fairly abberrant though;most look essentially like a red milk-a white/cream base color,with black-bordered red saddles of variable brightness/hue-some are sort of orangeish,some are cherry red,some even burgundy.....there are a few breeders around;most keep them locality specific,but some do not-be sure to ask about that,because it's an issue among keepers of temporalis.

Nice NJ stock. I really do preferr the spooted over the striped look. Coastals are really early breeders I've got one clutch in the incubator and another on the way
