Too bad these images get distorted a bit in quality when I post them. This is Otis doing one of his other favorite things, getting out of his cage!!! This guy loves to be held, once the cage top slides open, he crawls right up my arm.

He's a nice-looking animal. It's neat that he's so friendly to you.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

He's definently unique ... literally will crawl right into my hands out of his big cage, no need to pick him up!

My brooksi does the same thing. She can't wait to be taken out of her cage. When I open the sliding top, she's comin' out immediately. She's the best snake in the world I think, none of my others are like her, which really seperates her from them.

An older pic of her:

In your experience, do a high percentage of brooksi tend to be people-friendly? I like the thought of having a good "lap snake" that will sit with me while I watch TV, read, or surf the web.

Well, my Brooksi is the only one I have held, so I can't speak generally. He's great to handle but likes to roam around compared to a snake like a Ball Python.
