Hi Everyone-

My boyfriend and I have a ball python. We got him about 3 months ago, so he's still a juvenile ball python. He's great- he eats with gusto, and he sheds pretty much on schedule, always to completion. We have no complaints.
However, he just had a shed last week, on Tuesday the 22nd, actually. He ate normally on his usual feeding day, Friday, and now I've noticed that his eyes are cloudy again. Is it possible for him to shed again so soon? Or is this a sign of another problem?

Also, he doesn't defecate or urinate very often at all. Is that a problem? In the 3 months that we've had him he has defecated once, and urinated about 4 times.

I'd appreciate any feedback you might have. I'm so worried!!!Thank you!

Check if he has mites o.a. That can cause a snake to shed more often.

I checked for mites and he absolutely does not have them. I've checked his eyes, around his mouth, etc. All was clear after his shed last week.

Is it possible for a ball to grow so quickly? Meaning, if shedding is a means of growth, could it be that he needs to shed not even a week after the last time?

Did he have a nice clean shed(one piece) or did he still have pieces of the shed on him for a while?

It was a rather clean shed. One of my roommates said he saw a little bit left on his head, but by the time I checked, it had fallen off. Again, I checked for mites and he's clear. I just can't understand why he would shed again so quickly. Would his eyes cloud for ANY other reason?
