egg laying question

ok I brumated my hogs and warmed them up but the male and female have been breeding before she has her 1st shed so I'm confused as to when I should expect eggs after her fisrt shed? 2nd? thanks for any and all help

she should shed again about 30 day or so after breeding that will be her pre egg laying shed. then she should lay her eggs about 10 to 14 days after that shed. got it? good luck and post us some pics if you can.

what I'm trying to say is she hasn't shed once yet usually they shed once lay eggs, she hasn't had a first shed and is gravid I can feel eggs and she is noticably swollen breeding was seen about 2 weeks ago

I have one female western doing thje same thing. she has been out of hybernation for a few months, has not shed and she is full of eggs. all my other western hogs have all laid their eggs allready. now she has finally gone into her shed cycle and she is three times the size of the other snakes. so I supose she just has a lot more eggs in her to get ready to lay so it took her a bit longer. so yours will go into a shed soon and then she will lay eggs about 14 days after. OK.

She should lay 7 to 14 days after her first shed then.
