Chameleon THEFT

Kammerflage May 19, 2003 01:01 PM

Hi everyone,

We are very sad as we write this e-mail to let everyone know that over the weekend we had one of our prize chameleon breeders "Valentino" (Sambava Panther Chameleon) STOLEN at the IRBA Show in Pomona.

At approximately 3:30 pm yesterday (only 30 minutes before the show closed), an individual(s) took a knife and cut the screen edge of an end cage Valentino was in, and took him while 5 of us were in our booth, busy helping several customers. It was noticed almost immediately as our daughter had just prepared to take him out moments before when he was still in his cage. Although this crime was committed in plain site with many people around, it was obviously well orchestrated and thought out. Quite shocking to say the least.

Of course we are heartbroken and angry that anyone would have the unbelievable nerve to do such an evil thing and should anyone out there see our Valentino for sale over the internet or otherwise, we would be very grateful if you contacted us.

We have recent photos of Valentino posted on the home page of our website at www.calumma.com

Thank you,
Ed and Liddy Kammer

I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is a real shame that someone would even think of doing something like this. I hope that Valentino is returned to his proper home unharmed and that the person or persons responsible are held acountable.

It is really sad that people stoop to such low levels to aquire reptiles, or any thing for that matter. I hope you find him, and in good shape. ~SoBeK~
