She dropped 25 slugs on March 13... I was very distraught and it had a very negative effect on my mental state at the time. That along with all of the bells and whistles that comes along with your second year in college, it was to much for me come to terms with at that point. I am still inexperienced as far as breeding boas goes being this is my first litter in five years I did not want to think about my hypo throwing slugs as well( I am very superstitious), and don’t really like talking about it unless I am asked about it. I still have yet to come to terms with such a loss, they would have been phenomenal. The would be parents are both doing great and she once again loves her rats and guinea pigs and seems to be recovering better than I am at this point. The male is doing great as well and I am going to feed him tonight before I go out. He is looking cleaner than ever and hopefully will be up to the task next year. Nice to hear from you Chris!

but that is Boas for you. I still have another year or two before I get a shot at breeding (have bred Rough Scaled Sand Boas).

I'm glad to hear that the Anery is doing well. I kinda miss the big guy.

had literally no privacy. My mother and I would check on her every second we could (my mom took the morning shift). I was getting frustrated with an excel assignment and walked in my room to calm down. I looked in her enclosure to find her tail in the air and watched the first on pop out. My mother and I actually watched everyone being born together. It was a very exhilarating experience and I will never forget it. It only lasted fifty minutes so I could easily see how it was a rare sight. I also expected her to have them during the night, they were born at 2:30 p.m. Thanks for looking!
