this could be weird ...

If this works, will it just look like a long tri-color hognose or like a sinaloan milk with a pointy nose? Hmmmmm...

thoughts?

Hi Jim
I havent tried with a sin but i have with corn , nelsons , pueblan , cali.

iv had no luck with corns at all.
6 infetile eggs with a nelsons
8 infertile eggs with the pueblan and she double clutched the second cluch was 5 and they were infertile as well.
The cali i thought was going to work she laid 11 good looking eggs but failed at 5and half weeks.

Iv got a 2.3 group of tri's and use the males, they have no problems with fertility with there own.

iv never tryed crossing to the female tri's because of the size diference.

I hope it works for you.....

Jim,

If this works I want babies of these more than the hog x tri hog cross.

*keeping fingers crossed for you*

jimfmcdonald Apr 02, 2006 05:31 PM

I just put them together for the photo and to see what people would think of this cross. I wont be trying to cross the tri-to the sinaloan. I just dont see the point of it. but I will try the tri-hog to the western hog. that will be my main cross for this year. HOPE IT WORKS>>>

only the picture of the tri-color hognose and the sinaloan milk was just to ask what people would think of it, it was not of a breeding! all the other photos are of breedings. it was not meant to make people think it was a breeding photo. I supose I should have worded it differently. sorry for the confusion.

All you had to do was ask, instead of faking the photo....

Maybe your other photos are just a place together for the pic thing.

Jim your going to have to get better photos now, actual copulation pics so you can see the hemipene or people wont belive you.

Exaggerating a bit there grinch? Or just melodrama? Who does anyone really have anything to prove to? If he produces neonates, then something bred. Or does he need to "prove" that they are actually snakes, and not lizards with their legs taped down?

Yes a bit

But hey, i gave valid info to this guy that was only bluffing, if he wanted the info he didnt have to pull the wool over peoples eyes to get it.

he could have quite easily said .

i may be planning to cross these could someone give some feed back on any of their experiences with hybridizing Tri Hognose.

I gave the info to help not just for the heck of it.

I will be a bit unsure of his future posts as to whether they are valid or not..
The fake photo wasnt needed was it.

Jim

The reason I thought that they bred was the pic. The tails look like they are hooking up there.

Good luck with all these plans and keep the pics coming.

BR, You really shouldn't be so hard on Grinch. Or is it just melodrama? HA HA HA HA!

kingmilk Apr 04, 2006 02:32 PM

Only melodrama to illustrate that we are all stupid man animals, to some extent. We make mistakes, but to some extent it is my sarcastic sense of humor too, not a full reading.

BR,

I love your take on things. Totally agree.

We are all human and I am not worthy to stand in judgement on someone. I guess i am against all sorts of judgements. Today we have waaay to many laws and government taking away more from us everyday. People are judgemental and we are the end result of a society that policed itself to death. We have so many problems as a nation and race becuase of this. To bad everydody does not have the bigger picture like you do.

kingmilk Apr 05, 2006 04:43 PM

Well, Thanks Rainer. I sure do agree with you about society and human nature in general. I do try to take the bigger picture in life. I fail at it too sometimes. Now, try not to flatter me too much. It's already hard to find hats that fit.
