These two looked pretty darn COOL sitting there together. Diverse but yet both so beautiful !

Wow! "Eye catching" doesn't even begin to cover it.

so chippewa is cool with other males or is that not another male? i know he hangs with kong but i figure seeing a lizard that size would make you not want to mess with him

i took most of the collareds outside into the sun today in a screen cage. when i first put gracie (the baby who is chubby like ivan) into the cage, she and ivan both stood up on all fours and swayed at each other. i took them out of the cage and let them tongue flick each other and after that it was smooth sailing

get along just fine Vonnie. I am not suggesting people put their males together , but I have four males that roam the reptile room at one time during the day. Two (Chippewa and Kong) who free roam always. But Modoc has joined the gang and hangs with them all day.

I however do not let any females run for any length of time without me there.

I find that Chippewa, is more aggressive when a new female approaches the territory. He has been with the males and knows and seems trusts them.

I had 4 males out the other day and put a female down and Kong came over and mated with her (Sami) and then went back up on the basking pile with the other boys.

There is a tank I keep a couple mild mannered males in such a Kinky who is older and lil Chaco who is mellow. They have lived together for 3 years.

After having so many, you begin to know who is mellow and accepts others and who is a maniac. LOL I knwo all their antics, dislikes and likes, from observing.

Kiowa and Squashy can not stand the site of another male even passing their tanks. But each has a couple girls in there to protect from any PLAYBOYS, hehehe who happen to stroll past.
