'04 Blandings turtle

kensopher Mar 30, 2006 10:21 PM

I just wanted to post a pic. I like to see other peoples', so I thought I'd share. I need to work on the lighting for this turtle, it really didn't catch the skin color on this individual...nearly lime green.

That is an incredible looking Blandings at such an early age. Keep posting pics as it grows, it is sure to be one good looking adult as Blandings gain more color as they mature. What breeder did you obtain it from? I'm sure visitors of the forum would like to know where to obtain great looking specimens.

Marcus P Cantos! He's an awesome breeder out of Florida. His animals are not cheap, but they are incredibly colorful. His NA Wood turtles have to be seen to be believed. Many are directly related to a Wood turtle that graced the centerfold in a 'Reptiles' magazine article devoted to NA woods.

Thank you, and I'll definitely keep posting pics.
