Perlite to water ratio

My female will be laying eggs soon.
i dont know what perlite to water ratio would be adequate for her, can anyone help me?

i'd greatly appreciate it!

When you moisten the vermiculte it should be damp to the touch and if you pick up a handful and squeeze it the water should not drip out of it.

I could be wrong here, I have yet to hatch any eggs but I have my incubator setup with perlite. I did not add any water to it at all. I have a temp gauge in the egg container that satys at 85F with the help of a fish tank heater and a humidity gauge that after 24 hours read 80% witch is what I believe they need.
