Tried the main forum...

Now I'll try again in this one:

I want to take my KSB's off of Aspen. I want something more natural looking. I tried the Repti-sand before, but our snakes were really dull and dusty looking because of it. I am thinking of a coarse (playground) sand and soil mix. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your advice!

if you want to use play sand, get the white beach type sand at k-mart. the grains are finer and more uniform. ive used it for saharans and arabians without a problem.
