"poor man's Indigo"

phiber_optikx Mar 30, 2006 11:33 PM

I don't see why they don't call the Black ratsnake the por man's indigo.... Seems more fitting than the mbk because of the relative size. Do indigos have black bellies? Here is a pic of my mbk for all of you who were expecting one

Yup, here's my '04 43" Black Milk. I guess one could call it similar to an Indigo in some ways. He could definently get to 7' someday.

they are cool calm animals,i have an unrelated adult pair ,that thru 5 (2.3)flawless babies last year and i kept em all.the robust babies start out and stay good eatters (which makes this hobby so much more BETTER!alot of my other snakes wont eat pre-shed,but the Gaigeae i have get excited(feeding) even when are Gray w/ blue eye caps.
