The fastest growing female I have owned.

rwoodyer Mar 31, 2006 12:20 AM

So I purchased this female (for $25) in Oct. She was a Sept. hatchling, had a mass of 100 g as of the middle of October.
She currently tips the scales at 900 g. So 800 grams gained, or she has doubled her size three times over in a period of just over 5 months. If she continues to grow at this rate (which I know she wont, but it is fun to play with numbers), she will hit 6400 grams late sometime this year...

Well maybe not Here she is in Oct...

I had one girl eat like crazy since she was baby. After about a year she was starting to look really fat, lol. Had to put her on a diet, even though she wanted to eat everything insight. She now is around 1800 grams at 2 years old and still has an appetite for the biggest rat.

My fastest growing female reached 2700grams and laid 10 eggs at 23 months old. Out of 10 eggs there were 4 albinos.

My fastest growing female is Fluffy - on her first birthday she was (I think) about 44 inches and 1400 grams - on one small rat a week. She has been off feed since October - but she is now 18 months old - still close to 1600 grams and 4 feet long.
