Here's my little green burm. I posted a few months ago asking
about the bump he's got at about mid-body on his side.
Is this a spinal kink? Anyone know what it could be?
Are there any health implications because of this?

It doesn't appear to be a spinal kink as those tend to be topside and rather wide and large. It's a little difficult to make this out clearly as the photo is blurry but it looks like it might be just far enough down from his head (also hard to determine) as to indicate that maybe he either bit himself during eating and thus this could be scar tissue from a self inflicted wound, or a subdermal tooth that came off while biting himself. OR, perhaps a rat bit him there while being constricted. Do you feed live prey?
Either way it does not appear to be anything that would be life threatening or disfiguring.

Thanks for the reply...
No, I've never fed him live. He's a great eater. I feed him dead,
and I leave the rat pups in the corner of his cage so he has to
find them.
I thought maybe someone at the pet store may have smacked him,
you know after getting bit. I know that they do feed live over
there. He's really super docile. I just hope he remains this way
once he's got a little more size & muscle on him.
