All native nonvenomous herps are protected in Ga., so don't expect to see them there. I have never been there since corns aren't allowed.

My first though was Woah! Next thought is "why am I surprised?" Hmm, makes it harder. I'm more incharge of the balls we have. Mom (aka transportation) is in the corn half. Oh well I'll see. Thanks for the heads up.

Are California Kingsnakes allowed in GA? Is it Georgia native that's banned or US native? Kind of like AL, can't have a prairie dog, but you can have a tiger. There's one (tiger)been sighted about 5 miles from here wandering through people's back yards. Several people saw it, but they haven't caught it yet or found an owner. Never do understand the logic of some laws.

in many laws, lol!

I don't know how far they go as far as species, subspecies, etc. I avoid Ga. like the plague! (Except when I have to visit my brother in Augusta.) You would have to ask somebody from there about subspecies of kings, rats, etc. At least emoryi ought to be ok now that the taxonomists have split them off into their own species.
