Introducing H.O.T.LEYS

Brocks Boids Mar 31, 2006 01:33 PM

Not really a new Morph but what I think is the first combination of two of my favorite Morphs. Credit goes to Tim Magee for coming up with the name but I think it works and I'm keeping it, lol. These are from my Harlequin Orange Tail (H.O.T.) and my Motley male. The Orange Tail Hypo really seems to compliment and hold the Motley pattern very nicely. I'll have more pics up here after they shed and on my new site which will be ready by the time these guys shed. For now I can be reached at Brock@SunglowBoa.com

Thanks,
Steve Brockschmidt

I wanted to also thank Brendan Magee for selling me one of the only Orange Tail Harlequins he released and Chris Nicholas for a killer Motley male that turned out to be quite the stud at only 18 months. Thanks, Brock

shot of one of the HOTLEYS with a full tail stripe alone. I really can't wait till these guys have a few sheds and start coloring up like Mom. As Chris mentioned I hope the Harlequin affects even the normal Motleys color. The best thing is the male was a 66% poss het Albino so if he proves out next year these guys will all be 50% poss het Albino too!! Next step is trying for HOTLEY Sunglows and Super HOTLEY Super Sunglows!!!

Thanks again, Brock

Those are going to be awesome! But personally I am interested in seeing how the non-hypo Motleys turn out!

pics of the individual mots.

HOTLEYS - I LOVE that name! I can't wait to see more pics of those guys. I like how even the ones with the more traditional pattern have really long solid tails...hmmm...wonder if it's from the Motley or the Harlequin...something to ponder I was thinking of doing that breeding someday soon, so it's really cool to see your babies! Please show more pics after they shed.
