Re Substrate for leopard

I feel like Im becoming neurotic with the substrate debate -I want what is going to benefit my leopard the most-I am using rabbit pellets and hay right now-Im thinking of changing to coconut fiber-i bought the expandable stuff and am drying it out now-I thought I would do half coconut fiber and half hay-advice/coments welcome
