Gravid Eastern King.. # eggs guess?

mattcbiker Mar 31, 2006 07:46 PM

Here is my Eastern girl. This is the janky yet very practical hide/nest box I made. She is in the blue and should shed soon, can't wait for the eggs.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say 12...

Last year she laid 14! They all looked great, but due to a very bad user error - my error - they all went bad. It's a long story and I'm embarrassed to tell how so lets pray for good luck this year.

Matt she looks totally stocked with eggs!

I hate to tell you this but you may have to wait two weeks OR MORE for her to lay those eggs after she sheds.

I know - I am waiting for all of mine to drop as well and the anticipation is killing me.

Yea the wait is definently killing me too. I have a feeling it will be a while also before she lays, probably about 2 weeks after shed! Let us know how many eggs you get from some of your females!
