I'd love to see a full pic of that male especially. Jonel has some good lookin thayeri and those 3 are good examples of them.

Here's one of my males that should be breeding for the first time this year.

Hi William

Glad you and Toby are having fun with these. I thought these were going to get lost in the pet trade so I'm very happy to see them here. There were at least two of them that were initially labeled as keepers but I got a couple of other new stock from some of our friends here so I let them go. That big female will be a very clean banded animal (I really like her wide bands - reminded me of some NA triangulum) and you should show of full body shot of the nice male that you got. That male stood out from his siblings. Anyway, enjoy them and keep us updated on how they do. Take care.

Hi Toby

Shhh! no sales talk here....hehe. A snake stick of a retic would be nice *wink*wink*. That's actually the first snake I saw in person when I was (I think)10. My uncle caught it in my grandparents old house in the town Paombong in Bulacan, Philippines. I used to bug my uncle to ask for one of his chicks or ducklings to feed to the 4 foot baby every weekend when I went to visit. I used to just watch it and sit there for hours. Anyway, back to mexicanas...

Jonel,
The larger of the two females is definitely a pretty snake and she has a great feeding response. She also has a very nice peachy hue to her white bands. I am still working on my photography skills and a new digital camera, the one I am using is a 1999 model finepix. But i don't think the camera is to blame, just the operator.
You produce some really nice Thayeri and when Toby called me and said he had two trios on the way I knew I had to have some. Luckily he was nice enough to let me me get a couple and I couldn't be happier. Here is the shot I have of the male. I will try to get better ones on the next warm, sunny day.
Thanks,
William

Hi William

There you go. Just a little blurry but I think people would get the idea. Here's a quick pic that I took with an old 2.0 mp point and shoot camera right after it hatched. That male would still be labeled as keeper if I had not gotten a really awesome male from the Bodners last year. I really liked his head pattern.

Hey Jonel:

You've got skills! Nice job on that pic...is that taken with the new camera? Beautiful snake.

Cheers,

Bob

Hey Bob,

Thanks, but I'm hoping to get up to par to your photo skills. That pics was taken with my old olympus 3040 that broke down and I just replaced. I was playing around with the settings f-stops/exposures when I got that shot. I think it would have looked better if i used my make shift diffuser (shadow and light looks too strong). Still need to learn a lot of stuff so I'' be experimenting with my new camera. Here's another shot that I took at that time.
