i was in a petshop today and noticed, all of the snakes sitting in the water dishes.......they are there everytime i go...

lol is it me or do all snake babies love to climb on my glasses while I'm wearing them? its kinda weird...

mine done that to til the rottweiler i co own ate my glasses

Either they have it too hot, or the snakes have mites. The one time I saw the snakes at the pet stores in water dishes, they had mites. You could actually see them crawling on them. EWWWW.

I have seen this before too,usually means mites.

I have actually noticed it here as well.
As the temperatures go up, outside, their habitats get warmer.
Even though the pet stores are air conditioned the over-all temperature in spring and summer will be a few degrees warmer then the winter months.
Just enough to prompt them to soak a little more often.
Mites can cause it too but I have seen it several times where no mites were present.
