I don't have any pet shops around here that sell adults. A breeder near me that has a pet store sold one of his adults for $75.

Those sound about right for an arrogant pet shop. The amel isn't that far off (maybe ask about $75..) but the stripe and ghost is outrageous unless they are all gravid.

It is not uncommon for adults to bring higher prices.
Just look at the time and effort buying and adult can save.
Also look at the possibility of a quicker return on your money.
Now, having said that....I would be very suspect of any adults being sold at this time of year.
Chances are these are adults that didn't breed this season.
They could be past their breeding prime or just some of those few snakes that turn out to be non-breeders.
It is also possible they have already bred and laid for the season and room is being made for comming projects but I would lean towards the non-producers side of it.

Actually, a likely possibility is that these older snakes are merely "trade-ins"-pet snakes whose previous owners have decided to go on to some other animal or interest, and brought in to get rid of. You can sometimes find really good buys by shopping around (remember to only buy from stores that seem to do a good job with their reptiles). I own a reptile store, and this is how we get the vast majority of our older snakes.....

My LPS sells young corns for 69.99, both my motley albino and my ghost were 69.99 each, They had a pair of adult albinos in there not long ago for $90 for both, I asked why and they said adult snakes just arnt worth what babbys are
