Common Basilisk(Basiliscus basiliscus)

yes, it is, but do lots of reaserch before you get one, keep in mind they get 3 feet and need at least a 100 gallon tank, their total cost with supplies can be upwards of 500.00, they also need UVB/UVA light. didn't know if you knew this, you wern't very specific in your post.

100g? No way. 400g are about the absolute minimum for adults.

I'm sorry, I should have specified my info. I already keep basilisks and I know their requirements. My question was specifically aimed at Basiliscus basiliscus, if it was available in the trade.

They are rarely imported. But have a close eye on vittatus imports from Costa Rica. Sometimes you find single mislabelled specimens of basuiliscus among them.

I heard that importation of herps out of Central America was shut down. Have you heard of this, Ingo?
