I bought a golden gecko last saturday. He looked healthy when i got him. now its a little more than a week later, and he has this white patchy spot that start at his upper lip, and goes up to his nose, and in between his eyes. Is this mouth rot? if not, what is it?

well Ive treated a few cases of mouth rot and It starts with big cheesy white patches in the mouth.Ive never seen it go up to between the eyes though.for treatment get some peroxide and a box of cuetips and some tooth picks.use the tooth picks to gently take out the cheesy white spots and be careful.there will be bleedy spots under the white stuff.once you have gotten all of the infection out of the mouth use a cuetip dipped in peroxide and gently rub it on the infected areas.sometimes the peroxide will bubble up so use a dry cuetip to soak that up.redo this treaqtment once a day or 2,and eventually it should go away.hope this helps out
