update on my female

mack1time Apr 01, 2006 09:09 PM

So i had posted a couple weeks ago that i had seen my female drooling. I was very worried and took her to the vet today. The bill was 69$ for her to tell me my snake was fine. All she really did was ask me some questions touch the snake, open its mouth, and listened to her lungs with a stethascope. She told me what had happened was since my snake was soaking when i removed it it had prob ingested some water then regurged it when i scared it. Anyways just an update for yall

on several occations. The snakes soak in the tub, try to climb the slick sides and fall back in, taking in a bit of water in the process. I just turn the heat up for a few days to help prevent it from becoming an issue, although most can end up getting rid of the excess water without the heat, it just makes me feel better.
