I dunno i'm obsessed with Hi-red/orange hypos but i really like that snake, i don't know if it's the shot? and the head pattern is really nice tooo... i got a thing for head patterns on Brooksi/Florida Kings

and how the hell do get them to sit still?

haha... I like looking at the head patterns as well and often refer to this one as having "the two aliens sharing a hookah".

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of spotlight did you use? Is it a spot that plugs into a car lighter or just a very strong flashlight? Would like to know what brand and what daytime light was like when you used the spot?

Very nice pic IMO. I have to experiment with that now.

Hey Rainer.. It's not a "spotlight" at all but a feature on my Kodak program. Maybe yours has it too. Usually where you can make black and white photos or sepia etc... One click type thing.
I seriously doubt I could coordinate a light, a snake, and my camera at all the same time.. I'm way too slow and dumb for such a feat..
However, I'm also certain that with a little experimenting, you or someone else could pull it off and get some great looking shots. Maybe I'll try a real one since I have a few out there.
It helps to basically center the subject though first.
