chef is our nine year old black lab mix. he has never caught on that he is 110 lbs (as of the last vet visit) and very much so tries to be a lap dog.

he is a very good dog. never barks, unless told to speak for a treat. he doesn't need a leash, he is very content to just sit behind you outside. and he loves to watch movies with me at night. if the couch is cluttered, he will stare at me until i move the stuff and then he sits with his head in my lap, laying beside me. the other night i went to get a snack and he shifted positions and apparently decided he wanted control of the remote
