They really are neat snakes to keep and work with. Congrats on the breeding of your splotched. Hopefully, you'll get some nice offspring from them.

Greetings Gerrit,
I am currently working with a fairly nice sized colony of these beauties. I picked up a great looking pair in 2004 from Shannon and all the rest of my animals are directly from Robert Seib, who has been perfecting his line for over 10 years. Although Robert could answer this question better than I could, this trait is believed to be co-dominant and the vanishing pattern seen will vary considerably within each individual animal.
I have a few individuals that are truly striking, being almost completely red. I am hoping to one day produce offspring similar from those particular adults. Should be interesting...

Love thos e vanishing pattern Sinaloans. Have to see if the I can talk the wife into letting me "buy her" and '05 v.p. Snaloan male to go w/ our normal female as a future breeder.
