Gravid white normal transluscent

pdragon1 Apr 02, 2006 01:50 PM

This female is a normal trans that I held on to because she is so white. When she was little, she had a white head and trans body. The brown stuff on her face is hornworm guts. Josh

I have to say, at first I wasn't all that impressed with translucent dragons but the more I see of your animals, the more I have to admit, they are quite cool LOL. Pitty I can't afford to have some shipped up here to Canada to add to my collection of herps.

A black background would deffinitely show off this girl's beauty than the newspaper. A tip I am going to use myself, especially with my leucistic texas rat snake...a white snake on a white background doesn't look as stricking than it would on a black background. Now, if I can only find a way to ensure he stays on the black background long enough for me to take a picture LOL.

Thank you, I really appreciate the comments. The trans at first were a little ugly because I bred strong normal looking dragons into them. After I felt that they were going in the right direction, I put them to colored dragons. It just seemed like it would have been a bad start to breed mutation to color or mutation to mutation(hypopastels). Thanks for the advice, I'll have to try that. My main concern is not to put a whole lot of stress on the dragons before I photograph them. Capture them in their artificial enviroment, lol. Josh
