I Got My New Rare Tree Frog!

Paradon Apr 02, 2006 03:11 PM

Does anybody have a white-lip tree frog? Are they common where you live...or anywhere for that matter? I so excited, though! I got him for only $ 19.99 plus tax...so that's...$ 21.46, I think. I'd welcome any advice on how to care him/her; however, I think I got the basic covered! Cheers!

I don't know a whole lot on White lipped tree frogs, but I do know that they aren't as forgiving as say WTF when it comes to temp and humidity, you have to keep them constant.

My whole room is much warmer than the rest of the house because I use a lot of heat lamp for my herps. There's one for my iguana, turtle, beardie, and snake...plus, there's a heat mat to keep the ig warm during the night as well.

congrats, they are beautiful. as far as care goes they need at least a 15 gallon, 20 is good. humidity above 50, temps around 85 and lots of plants and branches. good luck!

Thank you! I have her in a 20 gallon tall, actually. And, yes...she is very beautiful! Maybe I'll post a pic of her when I have the chance! Cheers!
