Male GA Eastern

MikeMurphy Apr 02, 2006 03:18 PM

Here's my male GA eastern king that I got from Kevin Enge at the Daytona Show last year. The female is awesome too. She has a completely black belly and more even bands. She wouldn't sit still for a photo today. The male has a lot more orange and yellow in his bands.

Thanks. Yeah, Kevin produces some beautiful GA easterns. They just seem to get better with every shed. And they are growing like weeds! I'll post a shot of the female soon.

Plain awesome. I need to get some Enge GAs. They look noticeably different from Will Still's.

My female looks more like some of the ones I've seen from Will. I Kevin may have gotten some of his GA's from Will. I'm not sure exactly but I believe there is some connection there. Whatever the case, though, they both have awesome GA's. I'll post some shots of the female too. She looks a bit different.

I'm pretty sure Will's stock came from Enge... All of it maybe? But breeding stuff 8 generations down the line of course made them look a bit different.

When are yours set to breed? Next year? I might have to get one.

Hopefully next year. At the rate they're eating and growing they might make it. They're nuts when it comes to feeding.

lol... So is the male I got off of Will...

I've nicknamed him Psycho... So far he has jumped out of the enclosure twice for a mouse.

I'm assuming mine will be breedable next season as well. I got a 03 GA female from Keith last year and she's probably about 38"... And the male from Will is about 30".
