Suboc photos

MikeMurphy Apr 02, 2006 03:22 PM

Here are a couple of photos of some of my subocs. The first one is a female "greenish" blonde suboc that I got from Lee Abbott. She's kind of a khaki-green. She's only about 32" or so. I'll be curious to see how she looks full grown. The second photo is a my male blonde. He's got a lot of orange in him. Awesome snake. Enjoy

Thanks for sharing those, Mike! Nice critters! I like corns, but I REALLY like the natural phases like Okeetee and Miami phase. She is very pretty.
I bought 2.3 Lee Abbott Okeetees from Don in '04, and sold all but one male to make room for more subocs (of coarse!). He looks very much like the Abbott with super thick black borders and hi-contrast on Don's web site in the photo gallery.
I am going to make him a really large, nice display cage soon.
These are two of those males. I kept the one on bottom. That pic is old, and not very good though. And he is getting prettier and more orange with each shed. So...I'll have to take some more photos soon.

Hey Dusty. Thanks for looking. Yeah, I agree, the Miamis and Okeetees are the best. I like the high contrast. And something about the fact that they are "naturally occurring" appeals to me. That's a nice corn you got there. Every time I go by Lee's table at a show I almost buy a pair of his Okeetees.

What did you think of the subocs?

Very nice. Those blondes are both exceptional. I really like the extremes in background colors of wild blondes (hi-yellow, orangish, green, etc.). Thanks for sharing.
Dusty
