NJ Eastern Female

MikeMurphy Apr 02, 2006 06:26 PM

Here's a shot of my female NJ (Burlington) eastern that I got from Will Still in September '04. She and the male are awesome. Growing like weeds and eating everything in sight. I haven't gotten great photos of these guys but I'll keep trying. Anyway, you can see how white she's getting. Take care.

I don't have his email address here at work but I'm sure someone else does. Or hopefully he'll see this himself and respond. I believe it's something like "chainkingwill@juno.com" but I'm not entirely sure. You can give it a try though

Thanks Mike. Your a lucky guy to have such a nice looking Eastern!

Nice looker Keith.

MikeMurphy Apr 03, 2006 01:23 PM

Very nice too! I really like this locale a lot. The white bands are nice and white and the black is nice and black. Plus, I really like the thickness of the white chains. Sort of a medium thick...:P

Keith Hillson Apr 03, 2006 03:41 PM

Thats my best female. She is an awesome breeder and is as white and black as she looks in the pic.

Do you anticipate babies from that young N.J. male and that N.J.bottom female?

Keith Hillson Apr 04, 2006 12:10 AM

Yes. In fact here is a pic from the other night and they are hooked up right now as I type this.

Keith,

Too bad this snake has bad color and thick/aberrant crossbars!!!
I will give it a good home if you don't want to feed him anymore.
Stunning snake! He definitely is worthy of taking the place of your old timer N.J. male when he's no longer producing.

Beautiful snake!

That's very nice!

Mike, When you say she's getting "whiter" now, how "unwhite" was she when you first got her?
Thanks,
Bob.

MikeMurphy Apr 04, 2006 11:30 AM

Bob, she was more of a yellow/cream at first. Still pretty light. but definitely on the yellow/cream side. With every shed both she and the male have gotten whiter. They're awesome.

Hi Mike,

Congrats buddy, she looks great. I also love these NJ animals. After a shed the black is so deep its almost indigo. It looks like yours is also developing the enamel white of mom. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Will. Yeah, they are turning out just as you had said they would. They are definitely in the top 5 of my favorite snakes.
