Mites on my burm

BurmMania Apr 02, 2006 07:27 PM

I noticed lately that my burm has been soaking in the water for days on end. I then went to feed it yesterday and it ate but I noticed when it got out of the water bowl there were mites everywhere. I got some Reptile Relief (made by natural chemistry) cause I have heard good reviews about it, and its EPA approved. I then took my burm out of the enclosure and sprayed the enclosure down with the product, and also applied it on my snake the best I could. Where I think I may have went wrong is that immediately after I put my snake back in the enclosure it climbed right back into the water bowl. Does anybody know if this will render the Relief Aid useless? Or also if its bad since it may be precipitating into the water bowl that its soaking in...? I am trying to use the utmost precaution treating my snake and just dont want to take any risks. I have heard that after one use of this stuff you don't need to do it anymore at all and was also wodnering if anyone has had any success or failure with this product? Thanks for your time, and I look forward to your responses.

Prevent-A-Mite is the best product out there for mites. Its a little more expensive ( $20 ) but works beautifully. Check out this site below. Matt is great to work with and doesn't mind answering questions on the phone or by email. Tell him that his newest customre fan, Ralph Mills, recommended him to you. He has great products that work well.

Visual Morphs?....I love the normal looks. You can't improve on nature, you can only produce "interesting deviations".
