Does anyone have that feeling of satisfaction when you go to the rodent freezer and take out bags and bags of different sized rodents to warm up. Tonight was feeding night and I had to feed corn snakes, different sized colombians and my sand boas and it hit me that I have slightly achieved what I wanted, a nice collection of beautiful animals. I am not done collecting of course but just seeing those rodents and taking handfuls out to warm up made me...i dont know.....extremely happy. I know it seems wierd so I am wanting to see if anyone else gets that feeling on feeding day. Or if I am just extremely wierd. haha

i guess i could agree. i only have a few snakes and i enjoy watching them eat, its interesting even though it was just frozen. i would have to say i am most excited when they move up a size, its like achieving a goal. speaking of that next feeding day my little girl will be onto small/medium rats from weanlings.

I just thawed out some rodents tonight, and felt the same way...I have been keeing snakes for over 15 years, and NEVER ONCE has feeding my snakes been boring or just a chore...I don't care if it takes me 3-4 hours to sit and watch every snake eat...its almost relaxing to me...I really enjoy it...I get that same feeling...

I ordered frozed rats off of the internet and opened up that box and saw all white perfectly lined up rats. Before that, I got them from a local breeder and there was usually crap, bedding, and freezer burn all over. Its weird that opening a box of rats could bring so much joy to someone.
