i am bad for taking in needy animals, i had 4 iguanas 3 who were unwanted.... i rehomed them though igs are so big i didnt have enough room for that many, i kept my original one max who was 6 ft long and 14 yrs old when i had to put him down he had developed pneumonia and wasnt responding to meds...
and i have taken in probably 20 ferrets(ferrets are one of my favorite furry animals( i have tatoos)) one of who was badly beaten because she bit her owner, she came to live with me and was the sweetest thing she only weighed 1.5 lbs slept in the bed with me everynight she lived to be 13....... its funny i cant stand people being around me, and i have to sleep alone, but it doesnt bother me for animals to be jumping in and out of my bed, my manx cat sleeps on my bed quiet a bit, have noticed she is there after a seizure, i used to have a roommate and the cat would go to my bed if i was having a seizure and yowl til he came in there, i had an overnight guest and she didnt that and he had no idea what was going on, he said the cat went to screaming and the dog went hay wire my sugarglider was barking, he went to see what was going on and said i was having a seizure.
i have learned from the cat(i honestly think she can detect them) she has never been wrong, when one is fixing to happen she comes to where i am and starts yowling, the first few times i never paid attention to it, now if she does it i go either sit on the floor or to the couch. at night if i wake up and she is near my head i know something is wrong normally she sleep on the corner of the bed. the other funny thing is i sleep really hard i never hear my phone ring, nor do i hear the tv, but if one of the animals makes a sound i am up to see whats wrong.... i guess i am weird that way
